All about Callidus Roe...
Callidus Roe was created in March 2016 with an emphasis on supporting projects within defence. Initially, this was by contracting for engineering roles but shortly after project management of bespoke tasks was added to our portfolio.
We have worked on contracts for the UK MOD, a variety of primes, and smaller companies looking for short term expertise. We pride ourselves on being able to mobilise at short notice and have the advantage flexibility over larger companies.
Our ethos is to be able to influence, for the better, any of the projects or tasks we are commissioned for. We want to be known for adding benefit rather than tick box activity.
The aim of Callidus Roe is to grow as a company and become the de facto go to for engineering, project management, and technical support.

Learn More About The Founder
After 28 years as an engineer with the British Army and having achieved all that I wanted to achieve I felt that a change was needed. The nomadic lifestyle and rigid career pathway no longer suited me; I wanted to be my own boss, and Callidus Roe was born.
During my military career I qualified as a scuba diving instructor and gained great satisfaction from my involvement with the charity BattleBack; teaching scuba diving to wounded service personnel and veterans. Callidus Roe, therefore, embodies the value of “giving back” by employing veterans from any of the services.
Most military careers cover a wide range of roles and as such, I have undertaken positions from HR to Health and Safety, but my real passion has always been for all things engineering. I pride myself on always trying to improve products and not merely accept the status quo.
I also volunteer with The Institution of Engineering and Technology as an interviewer and assessor, supporting technicians and engineers towards achieving membership.
